Geography Department

In Geography we like to see the students appreciating their place in the world around them and furthering their knowledge from local to global.

There’s a place in Geography for good old fashioned knowledge about the world (the longest river, highest mountain, biggest city) as well as more complex ideas of globalisation, development, senses of place and wonder at how our physical landscapes were formed.

We cover all these ideas from Key Stage 3 right through to A Level – we hope you enjoy studying them with us.
